The conical-capped crusaders
footing their malicious way to us
forming rings of fungoid humanoids
encircling any who trespass
“Go back! Go back! Turn away, you fools!
This is not the way to go!
Go back! Go back! Not trample us!
And please make sure your foot falls slow!”
Unknowing an foot-heavy
the children of man run free
Unknowingly kicking mushrooms
Now they come for you and me
Beware! Beware! The mushrooms are here!
Spreading disaster, fungus and fear!
Away! Away! Flee for your lives!
For they can still kill with their feel like knives!
Cutting up meadows and squinting their eyes
Fearless and pissed, they’ll mess up your life
So watch where you’re pickin’
and don’t hand them no jive!
